Annual Meeting/Lunch/Scramble

CALLING ALL VENDORS

The plans for this years Annual Meeting are to include vendors that day to display and sell merchandise.  We’d like to have a variety of merchants with varied products.  If you own a business, sell a product or if you’re talented and make items for a hobby and would like everyone to know, get in touch with me to be a part of the fun and profits.  If you said no to all of the above but you know of someone who would like to participate, please pass the information on and put him or her in touch with me.  The more, the better, the merrier!  So, start talking it up now for a fun-filled opening day.  With everyone’s help, it will be great.  Also, if you have any other ideas that you think would be good for the meeting, please let me know.  There are some great minds out there, I’m sure.  Contact me, Inez Bridges at 248-552-9328 or email me at imbridges@aol.com to let me know.  I’m always open for suggestions.  Thanks in advance, and we’ll see you on May 13^th.       

ANNUAL MEETING AND SPRING SCRAMBLE

The MWGA is kicking off the 2006 season on Saturday, May 13 at The Golden Fox at Fox Hills in Plymouth.  Our Annual Meeting and Luncheon will begin at 12 noon followed by the 4-Lady Member/Guest Spring Scramble, with a 1:30 PM shot-gun start.  Merchandise and services provided by members and friends will be on display and available for purchase before the meeting begins.

At the Annual Meeting members have an opportunity to gather, meet the MWPGA Board, and get first hand, plans and changes for the upcoming season.  You have a chance to provide your input, opinions, and suggestions on how to improve our association, vote on proposed changes to our by-laws and constitution, and applaud fellow members for their accomplishments in receiving Player of the Year, Golfer of the Year, and Most Improved Golfer Awards. 

The scramble is a great way to start the season and to introduce your friends to the MWGA  If you don’t have a full team, you can sign up as a single or with one or two other players and we will complete your team for you.

We really hope to see all of you on May 13!!

Course:                      70.4/123 rating/slope, 5,040 yards

Fee:                            $88 includes Annual Meeting, lunch, golf, cart, range balls, prizes

Requirements:          USGA index, soft spikes, proper attire

Entry due:                  Wednesday, May 3

Games:                       Cash games will be available for all flights
