The Match Play League will be having another fabulous year in 2006. To reserve your spot for the 2006 season, just follow the four-step process below. But don’t delay or you could be missing out on an incredible opportunity.

2) Mail a check for $50.00 made out to MWGA to:

3) Confirm if you will be attending May 7^th Kick-Off at The Orchards ($40 with cart)

4) Wait in anticipation of the most awesome experience since 2005 Match Play League!

The league format will be identical to the 2005 format. There will be 24 members, with the option to add in groups of four, one for each of the four flights. We welcome all levels of play. Last year there was a waiting list, so this year, make sure you sign up immediately to reserve your place on the league.

The kick-off meeting and golf will be on May 7^th at the Orchard’s Golf Club in Washington. You will definitely want to mark your calendars and save the date. I was able to get a rate of $40 for golf with cart which is next to impossible at the Orchards, as normal weekend season rates are $85. Payment for golf and cart are to be paid at the course. The meeting will start at 11:00 am in the clubhouse private meeting room. Orders for lunch will be taken and paid individually, but served all at the same time during the meeting. Tee-times will follow beginning at 1:12 pm . Confirmation for golf is required. Flights will be established by the kick-off meeting and you can plan on playing a match should you choose.

All MWGA members are welcome to join us on any of the outing days; you do not have to be part of the league. There will be one outing per month including May 7, May 27, June 11, July 15, August 19, and September 10. The season finale on Sunday, September 10, is an open match play event where the league finalists will play to determine the Match Play League Champion.

During the season, matches can be played anywhere, any day, at any time, as long as you make arrangements with your match play opponent. You do not have to attend the outing dates to be in the league.
