MWGA 2-Day State Championship

- The MWGA 2-Day State Championship will be held Saturday and Sunday, July 26^th and 27^th at Hawk Hollow in Bath near East Lansing.

- There will be a modified shotgun start beginning at 9 AM each day.

- The Championship Flight and First Flight will be playing from 5789 yds. and the Second Flight from 5078 yds.

- GAM Women’s, Senior Women’s, and Junior Girl’s Honor Roll Points are given to the Champion (150), Runner-up (90) and to the top 15 scorers including ties.

- The Champion will qualify to play in the Chrysler Club Championship at Indianwood Golf and Country Club September 30^th. Darci Stocker and Terry Delcamp represented the MWGA the last 2 years and each qualified for and played in the National Chrysler Club Championship.

- To be eligible, you must have a USGA index. You do not have to be a member of the MWGA or GAM.

- Players will be paired with like handicaps and all are welcome.

- The fees are $163 for MWGA members, $183 for non-members, and $48 for juniors walking on Sunday.

- Included in the fees are awards for the Champion, the Senior, Super Senior, and Junior medallists, gift certificates for low gross and low net scores in each flight, golf, cart, and range two days and the Awards Luncheon on Sunday.

- The junior fee includes gift certificate prizes, golf, range, and the Awards Luncheon on Sunday only. If you want to get in the games, you must pre-pay the games fee of $10 when you enter.

- Games include 3 closest to the pin contests and gross skins in two flights and chip-ins (non-flighted).

- The Hampton Inn is the closest hotel. It is on Lake Lansing Road just east of 127. Call (800) 426-7866 to make reservations. In order to get the group rate, the reservation must be made by June 25th.

- The entry deadline is July 16^th.
