MWGA & Sugarbush GC the tradition continues

Best 2 of 4, July 12

The drive up I-75 each summer gets us to mid – Michigan and the countryside of Davison, just southeast of Flint.  The July 12^th Best 2 of 4 Ball Event will always find the groups enjoying great golf.  The challenge of No. 18, the beauty of No. 13 and trying to hit the green in 2 on No. 8 brings foursomes from the metro-Detroit area each summer.  Golfers should pull together their teams and put the July 12^th date on the calendar as it will promise to be a fun filled day starting with a 9 am shotgun.  For only $66.00 per person for golf, cart, range and the usual games set up for MWGA events, you will not be disappointed.  Although the course will be set up for only a little more than 5,000 yds., it will be a shot makers team that comes out on top at the end of the day. The par 3’s will require you to know your clubs yardages and everyone enjoys the challenging finesse of No. 16 with one of your wedges.  The course is cut into the woods with water on 9 holes and the front 9 having a more open rolling hills geography.  The facilities are great with a practice putting green, short game area and a driving range to accommodate over 20 golfers at a time.  Join Pam Kurtz and Inez Bridges as they Co-Chair this Best 2 of 4 Ball Event.  If you have questions contact Pam Kurtz at 989-723-8974 or by email, kurtz@mwgolf.org.  Looking forward to another great season of golf in ’08.
