Vendor Space for the 2010 MWGA Annual Meeting & Golf Scramble

Dear MWGA Vendor,

Once again, the MWGA will begin a new golf season on Saturday May 8, 2010 on the rolling fairways and beautiful clubhouse of Dunham Hills Golf Club in Hartland, Michigan.  This is the site of the 2010 MWGA Annual Meeting & Golf Scramble.

Thanks to all of you who participated in last year’s event, and we welcome those of you who will be new to this venue this year.  We are planning an exciting day of socializing, marketing and golf for that day.  The agenda will be the same as last year, and I and the other MWGA board members invite all of you and welcome your participation.  We’re looking forward to a great golfing year with great weather for that day and going forward.  Thus far this spring, the weather appears to be in our favor.

The day will begin at 10 a.m. for registration and shopping the vendors.  The luncheon and meeting starts at 11:30 a.m., (vendors may dine at a minimal cost) followed by the Annual Meeting at 11:45 a.m.  The scramble starts promptly at 1:30 p.m. for the golfers, so you can count on them heading for the course by 1:00 pm.  Vendor tables will be ready for you early that morning (from 7:30 a.m.) in order for you to complete your set-up before the arrival of our members and guests.  If you have any special needs (electricity, double tables, etc.), please let me know in advance, and we will accommodate you.

Along with the marketing opportunity available to you at this event, is the intrinsic benefit of being an MWGA partner in our charitable efforts.  As a vendor, you may participate by donating a portion of your sales from the event (normally 10%) to the MWGA Junior Golf Program.  Again this year, we are sponsoring an LPGA/USGA Girls Golf Program at The First Tee Golf Facility on Belle Isle.  We’re in our fourth year, we’re committed and we’re proud of its growth.   As an added benefit for your donation, the MWGA is a 401(c)(3) organization for your tax purposes.  And to stay top-of-mind with our members all year, advertising opportunities are available on our web site and in our NEWSLINX publication.  I can provide you with complete sponsorship and advertising information.

Again, thank you in advance for partnering with the MWGA in our efforts to promote golf to women and young girls across the state.  Please contact me to reserve your space or with any questions.   We’re looking forward to having you join us on Saturday May 8th at Dunham Hills Golf Club.
